As a caring and dedicated mentor, help children or fellow IU students with autism develop friendships and practice social skills. The Autism Mentoring Program spreads awareness of autism and fosters education through other community activities and involvement. AMP partners with Binford Elementary School and the Bloomington College Internship Program (CIP), a residence program for IU students with autism.

Mentors spend one hour per week either mentoring one-on-one at lunch and recess with an elementary student at Binford Elementary or assisting a group class club at CIP. The schedule resets each semester. All IU Bloomington students are invited to join.

Meetings: Call-out at the beginning of each semester and general meetings as needed (usually one mid-semester meeting as a check-in with current mentors)
