Today Finley’s mission is changing the composition of the soil in communities around the world through The Ron Finley Project. He envisions a world where gardening is gangsta, where cool kids know their nutrition, and where communities embrace the act of growing.

Join your fellow undergraduates for lunch and an informal conversation with Ron Finley.

A guerilla gardener in South Central LA | Ron Finley

While at IU, Finley will participate in a conversation on Monday, April 2, at 4 p.m. in the Solarium at the Indiana Memorial Union. The event is free and open to the public. Sponsored by the Hutton Honors College, the conversation is part of the Many Worlds, One Globe series designed to highlight research and creative activities that connect global understanding with individual identity.

CANCELLATIONS: If you must cancel your reservation, please email or phone Becca Creath (bcreath@indiana.edu; 812-855-5296), but please try to do so in a timely fashion so that someone on the wait list can take advantage of the opportunity you must miss. We understand there are emergency situations; but in other cases, please let us know before the day of the program if you must cancel, as it is often difficult to reach those on the wait list on the day of a program.
