Hutton Honors College Great Room

Join us for Coffee Hour as we focus on the theme of “What comes next?” after graduation. Representatives from MoneySmarts will be on hand to discuss budgets, savings, and student loans. Chris Stewart, an HHC alum, will be available to share his experiences and insights. Current HHC juniors will share insights they have gained from a course on applying to graduate/professional schools and nationally competitive awards. Hutton advisors will also be on hand to answer questions and provide guidance.

Chris Stewart graduated in 2013 with a Bachelor's degree and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Higher Education and Student Affairs at IU. Chris holds a research assistant position in the Center for Postsecondary Research and also maintains positions in Student Life & Learning and IU Outdoor Adventures.

Some of the HHC juniors are pre-med and are getting ready to take the MCAT and apply to medical schools. Others have declared majors in Economics, Human Development, Neuroscience and International Studies. All of them have pursued activities outside the classroom that further their academic engagement on campus. Paul Fogleman is the instructor of the course and will also be in attendance. He works in the HHC and advises undergraduates applying for nationally competitive awards and graduate school. Learn more about his office »
