To meet the academic course requirement in the HHC, students must successfully complete two (2) approved Hutton or departmental honors courses by the end of their sixth semester. The two honors courses must each be at least 3 credit hours.In addition, all students must carry a cumulative GPA (CGPA) of 3.40 or higher. Students' CGPA will be reviewed at the end of their freshman year and in succeeding academic years.
NOTE: Membership requirements were substantially revised in spring 2024. These requirements apply only to students who joined the Hutton Honors College before summer 2024. Students who matriculated at IU Bloomington in the 2024-2025 academic year and later should see the current membership requirements.
