The Hutton Honors College is highly selective, accepting less than 10% of each entering class.
Admission to the Hutton Hutton Honors College (HHC) is by application only.
Domestic students The regular application deadline for domestic students seeking Fall 2025 admission has passed; we are continuing to review those applications. Successful applicants will begin to be notified in late February; all students will be informed of their admission status by April 11th.
If you missed the regular application deadline and are a domestic student who has been accepted to IU Bloomington, you may still petition for admission to the Hutton Honors College. The petition will be open from 1:00 a.m. (E.S.T.) February 1 to 1:00 a.m. (E.S.T.) April 1. Once the petition is open, you will find it in your IU Portal. You will be notified of the outcome of your petition no later than April 11th.
International Students (including US citizens living abroad) must submit a completed IU Bloomington application by February 1, 2025 and their HHC application by 11:59 p.m. on April 1, 2025.
